Modern restorative dentistry requires materials that ensure high strength, biocompatibility, and effective cavity sealing. Biodentine XP, a high-performance calcium-silicate based material, serves as a dentin substitute, enabling bulk-filling in deep cavities while ensuring pulp protection. The biobulk-fill technique has gained popularity for its efficiency and ability to streamline workflows.

This workshop will focus on Biodentine XP and its clinical applications. With its bioactivity and biomineralization properties, it promotes dentin regeneration and forms a stable bond with both dentin and composite resins. These characteristics make it ideal for direct and indirect pulp capping with a long-term pulp preservation. The session will highlight Biodentine XP’s role as a dentin substitute in biobulk-fill procedures, enabling single-step cavity filling, reducing chairside time, and improving treatment predictability.

Additionally, the workshop will illustrate the combination of Biodentine XP with the Essential Lines technique, optimizing efficiency in restorative workflows. A hands-on session will allow participants to perform a direct restoration using Biodentine XP in a biobulk-fill approach, reinforcing theoretical concepts through practical application and clinical case demonstrations.
